Snorkeling Excursions

Full-day kayak and snorkel trip -

• Kayak from a secluded beach to Peterson Cay National Park
• Receive expert snorkel instruction
• With the group, go on a snorkeling tour around the Cay
• Lunch on the Cay will be prepared by the Crew while you "swim with the fishes
• watch the dolphins that often frolic in the surrounding waters while you kayak back to Grand Bahama

Glass-bottom half-sub adventure -

• Three-hour tour for those who want to experience the Grand Bahamas' undersea world without spending the full day
• We'll ride out to our secret underwater feeding ground
• The more adventuresome can slip into the warm, Caribbean Sea to mingle with fishes of every type.
• The less adventuresome can relax in our glass-bottom half-submarine

Lucayan National Park, "Swashland" Mangrove 1/2 day tour -

• Leave the resort at 9 a.m. for an exciting and informative tour of the Lucyan National Park Mangrove swamp
• This is easily one the most fascinating ecological zones in The Bahamas. This zone also has orchids and ferns.
• The tour returns to the resort at 1 p.m., giving you ample time to enjoy the beach or pool.

Lucayan National Park/Rand Nature Center full-day tour.

• Just 25 miles east of Freeport, you'll wander through each of six, distinct ecosystems all in the 40-acre Lucayan National Park.
• Explore:
• The Grand Bahama's Pine forest
• Blackland Blackland Coppice
• Rocky Blackland Coppice
• Mangrove Swamp
• Whiteland Blackl
• Coppice and the Beach/Shoreline ecosystems.
• Finish your day with a guided tour of the 100-acre Rand Nature Center habitat and wildlife sanctuary
